Nahomy Villalobos Tello, Chiropractic Postceptor

Nahomy Villalobos (Chiropractic Postceptor)

Originally from Chicago, Nahomy grew up playing soccer, running cross country and track & field. Her interest in the profession first began after completing her second Chicago Marathon. She received chiropractic care for various running injuries and became fascinated with the non-pharmaceutical, problem solving approach to treating the human body as a whole.

After finishing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Illinois, she was inspired to become a chiropractor for athletes and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus. While at Palmer she played soccer for the school team, served as vice president of the Associate Student Government, and was an active member of the Palmer West Sports Council. In her last quarter she did her preceptorship at ProActive under the guidance of her mentor, Dr. Cohen.

Along with the guidance from Dr. Cohen and her educational background in motion palpation, Nahomy applies a unique combination of chiropractic adjustments, muscle release techniques, exercise prescription, and injury prevention strategies to bring long term relief to her patients.

When she isn’t in the office Nahomy enjoys staying active through strength-training/power lifting, pilates, running, hiking, and spending quality time with her partner and friends.

*Graduated March 2023 and awaiting her Chiropractic license but currently practicing under Dr. Cohen’s license as he’s adjunct facility at Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose.*
